Dan Shields’ Ascend Property Group breaks ground on Front Row
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Rocket City continues to grow, with crews breaking ground on Huntsville’s newest mixed-use development.
Front Row is expected to be more than 11-acres and filled with apartments, office space, retail space, and restaurants.
All of Front Row has a $220 million price tag and will be built on the site of the old Coca Cola Plant in downtown Huntsville.
Project leaders say they are changing downtown Huntsville for the better.
“We think Front Row is something Huntsville needs, something Huntsville’s been waiting for and it will transform downtown,” Project Leader Dan Shields said.
Retail spots in Front Row are expected to open late next year and apartments are expected to open up sometime in 2026.
